Parent Commitment Ceremony

Since Kevin and I decided to raise our family in a Baptist church, and they do not recognize infant baptism, Wyatt will not be baptized until he makes the decision to do so as a believer! While at first this was a little hard for me, since I was raised Presbyterian which does do infant baptism, I now see the beauty in waiting until Wyatt can tell me himself that he accepts Jesus as his Lord and Savior and wants to be baptized. I truly can not wait for that day, and I pray that God gives me the strength and wisdom to guide Wyatt as he grows in his faith. With that said, our church does do a Parent Commitment Ceremony, were we stand in front of our friends and family and promise to raise Wyatt in the church and guide him in his faith. It was such an amazing and beautiful day, and a memory I will treasure. We are so blessed to have so much family around to support us and love on our little man.
