The Pumpkin Patch

I absolutely LOVE the fall. It is my all time favorite time of year. I love that fall means football, cooler weather, pumpkins (and all yummy things pumpkin flavored), and to me it mean the start of the holiday season (Growing up in my house I had to fight with my mom every year to keep her from putting up the Christmas tree before Halloween). It also doesn't hurt that my birthday is in October as well :). This year Wyatt made my already favorite time of year even better. I have dreamed my whole life of having my own family and starting new family traditions, and first up on my list was visiting the pumpkin patch, and carving pumpkins! This year Wyatt and I got to go and get some super cute pictures taken. Much to my disappointment, it felt more like summer outside than fall. As you can see by the photos, Wyatt didn't love our time there, but hey there is always next year :). Kevin and I waited until a cooler day closer to Halloween to actually carve the pumpkins, but needless to say our little fall family traditions are underway!

One Month

How did a month go by so fast! This first month of Wyatt's life has been the very best of mine so far. I am so so in love with him and just cant stop kissing that precious face of his. I love how much Kevin loves him, and it melts my heart every time I see them together. Life truly cant get any better. On a funny note, Wyatt's umbilical cord still hasn't fallen off! I mean come on! I thought those thing were supposed to fall of fast! I am ready to give him a real bath and I'm just very tired of cleaning that thing!

25

Yesterday was my 25th birthday, and I have to say that 25 is already the best year yet! I got to wake up to the best gift God could have ever given me! I spent the whole morning cuddling with my little man, and thanking Kevin for working so hard so I can stay at home with Wyatt. I wake up everyday so thankful for my life, and the gifts that God has given me. That afternoon my sweet friend Bria came over and took Wyatt and me to lunch. I had so much fun catching up with her. Then last night, my mom had the family over for pizza and cake (admittedly one of my favorite meals) and to just hung out. It was an absolutely perfect birthday, and I feel so spoiled! Thanks to everyone who helped make me feel so special!

Newborn Pictures

Again, I have been beyond spoiled by Haley. Not only did she stay with me for the whole week before Wyatt arrived, she came back a few days later and spent another week helping me take care of my little man. While we were camped out at my house, she took these absolutely amazing newborn pictures of Wyatt. As if all of this wasn't hard enough, she was doing it all PREGNANT! I have been dying to announce to the world that Haley is expecting a little one this May. I truly couldn't be more excited for her and Brandon, and I can't wait to spoil her and her little one! Anyway, here are the precious photos Haley captured while she was here :).

I had to make sure and get a few of Haley and Wyatt before she left us. I sobbed after she left. It was so so hard to see her go. Lucky for me, we don't go more than a few weeks between visits, or it would have been even harder!
