I mean just look at this little face! I don't think I could love him more if I tried! Every single day gets more fun with this little man. He is learning something new everyday and just trying to get into everything! I have the best job in the whole world getting to spend every day with him!
Still tall and skinny, but what would you expect with Kevin as his daddy :).

Steamboat
I know I probably say this too much, but Kevin and I are so
so spoiled to have so much family around to help us with Wyatt. Last week, we
took our first long trip away from Wyatt and were blessed enough to have two
sets of grandparents watch him while we were gone. I know he had a blast, and
Kevin and I got a much needed weekend away with some of our very best friends.
Kevin has been going to Steamboat since he was little, and we have been going
together since we started dating 9 years ago. It is truly like a second home
for us and we loved getting to share it with our friends. The skiing was
amazing, and we had an incredible time. While it was so nice to get away, we
missed our little man so so much. By the time we were going home, I was
physically aching to hold him! Thank you Lindy, Will, Katie and Cody, for coming with us, and for listening to us talk about our little man entirely too much. I promise we will repay the favor :). I also cannot thank our parents enough for being such an amazing blessing to our little family and watching Wyatt so we can make our marriage a priority!
Lindy girls birthday dinner at Cafe Diva!
It snowed like crazy a few days while we were skiing, and on one particular afternoon we got stuck in a white out on the top of the mountain. This is a series of pictures taken while we were trying to wait it out. The conditions continued to get worse and they made an announcement that we needed to get down the mountain. I have never been so scared but had so much fun at the same time! Thanks Will for being our fearless leader and keeping track of us as we made out way down the mountain!
Celebrating out survival!
Best ski buddy a girl could ask for!

Sandy's Sixty!
Birthdays are always a big deal around the Saxe clan. Back in February, Sandy rang in his 60th birthday with friends in Steamboat, but just because we weren't there to celebrate with him on the actual day didn't mean we were going to let him get away with out a family get together. Every one had such a fun time planning a surprise weekend to celebrate Sandy's big day. We headed out to Kingwood for the weekend to give everyone more time to spend together. We started the day with Ally making Bubba his favorite breakfast, french toast! While Wyatt took a nap, Micah and Laurel swam in the hot tube while everyone else enjoyed the beautiful weather outside and watched.
Ally and I planned convinced Micah that he should jump in the pool, and if he did I would too. He did not like the cold water at all :(. I felt so mean and definitely followed through on my promise and jumped in as well. Needless to say I learned my lesson.
David and Ally got these awesome shirts made with all of Sandy's best quotes on them. They were awesome and so fun to surprise him with.
Next, everyone got all dressed up for our big night out. It is always so much fun getting dressed with the girls. We had a blast helping each other with outfits and make up, and probably took a little too long getting ready! When we were finally all dressed, we took some pictures then surprised Sandy with the limo that would be taking us to our next stop, Brennans! Brennans is one of Sandy's favorite restaurants, and the biggest surprise of all is we got to sit at the kitchen table! While we were being served a 6 course meal, we would walk around the kitchen as much as we want and ask about everything being made. it was SOO much fun, and I think Sandy really enjoyed himself!
