That did NOT just happen…

Have I said lately how much my husband spoils me? Well if I haven’t, then its time for me to praise him! He works so so hard and provides such an amazing life for us. I feel like the luckiest lady in the whole world to get to stay home with my little man, and that is all thanks to him. To add to that, recently he bought me a brand new car! I cannot tell you how excited this made me! I immediately bought a package to Bubbles Car Wash so that I could get my car washed once a week to keep it extra new looking, I bought special car seat covers to protect the seats for Wyatt’s car seat, and even made Kevin buy the extra car protection plan so that I could get any little spill fixed! Excited is honestly an understatement. When we got home with our new car, I decided that my cars home aka our garage needed to be pretty, clean and shiny to match the pretty clean new car that will be living there. I cleaned out EVERYTHING. This included old paint that the previous owners left. I thought that whatever was put into the trash can would be taken away forever and I would be left with only the cleanest neatest garage on the block…I was wrong. Turns out garbage men do not take paint, so come trash day they took those cans of paint out of the trash and set the right in front of the trash can…directly in the path that I have to pull my car into the garage. If you have never been to our house , our garage is actually behind our house, so you pull into the driveway and then take a right into the garage. It’s a sharp turn, and visibility is poor. So on this trash day, Wyatt and I head home after a nice lunch with friends. I pull into my drive way like normal, open the garage and proceed to pull in as normal. As my car makes its way into the garage I all of the sudden I hear a loud pop, then everything in my field of vision turns white! Panicked I jump out of the car and realize I have run over a can of paint! Not only is my car COVERED, but the entire garage is splatter painted as well…I mean it is everywhere. What happened next was not pretty. I PANIC! Luckily Kevin was home. I run Wyatt inside give him to Kevin and immediately head outside with a bottle of dawn dish soap and start drenching my car in it. The stress of this situation definitely did not look pretty on me. I was short and mean to Kevin, who poor thing was just trying to help me. I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off. Luckily for all involved, the paint came off of my car. The garage, on the other hand, as well as its contents did not get by so unscathed. There is now a lovely layer of off while paint on anything that was in range on that fateful day. So my message to all, do not put paint in the trash can!
This is the aftermath of the garage. No picture was taken of the car...to much panic for that!

9 Months

Another month gone! Our little guy is growing leaps and bounds! Although still tall and skinny he is perfectly healthy! He is becoming a better eater by the day, and loves anything with cheese in it! I am having more and more fun with him the bigger he gets and am constantly in awe of how fast his little mind is growing. We have been spending long days at the children’s museum and the pool, playing and enjoying the summer. He has become the happiest kid on the block, and I can’t get enough of his smiles!
These pictures perfectly sum up our happy, crazy, ACTIVE 9 month old! He is way to busy to sit still for a picture!

I am so unbelievable proud of the person he has become and cant wait to see where he goes in life! Kevin, Wyatt and I made a little trip out of his graduation and took Wyatt to the beach for the first time. The whole weekend was

Napa

Man Kevin and I have been beyond spoiled lately! Our trip last weekend to Napa could not have been more perfect! Wyatt got to spend the weekend with GiGi and Grandpa, while we joined our friends Adam and Danielle for an amazing weekend away. We flew into San Francisco and drove to Yountville, in Napa Valley, where we stayed at one of the most perfect hotels I have ever stayed at, Hotel Yountville. We ate amazing food and got to try all sorts of fantastic wines. It was beautiful and the weather could not have been more perfect. We went to so many gorgeous wineries, and Kevin and I became wine collectors along the way. We even had to buy a new wine fridge when we got home because we bought so much while we where there! Adam and Danielle were the perfect couple to travel with and I look forward to many more trips in the future!
Our beautiful hotel!
 First night there, exploring Yountville.

Quick stop in Sausalito on our way home! Absolutely perfect way to end a perfect trip!

8 Months

How I have an eight month old I just don’t know! Time seems to be going by faster and faster, and I feel that each passing day gets more and more fun.  Eight months has definitely brought a few changes around here! As of a week ago, we officially have a crawler, and boy does that change thing! Wyatt is literally into everything. I can constantly see his little mind at work as he crawls from room to room and from toy to toy. I have never had so much fun in my whole life. Getting to be home with him to watch all of these milestones is a dream come true. I love watching him clap when he gets supper excited, or stare at me and laugh when I tell him no. Even though this is the hardest job I have ever had, I honestly feel like I am living my dream. I thank the Lord everyday for blessing me beyond my own comprehension. I am so excited to continue to watch my little man grow more and more everyday!
